My name is Peter Pletl. I am a visual artist with a degree in sculpture, working across drawing, painting and sculpture. Drawing has remained a central part of my practice throughout the years. I work with a wide range of traditional and digital media, including ink, charcoal, chalk, watercolor, acrylic and oil. I am particularly interested in the human figure, portraiture, structure, observation and the relationship between construction and expressive mark-making. Alongside my own artistic practice, I also teach drawing through FineArtMentoring, where I focus on structure, proportion, observation and classical academic foundations. This portfolio brings together selected works from different periods and media, including finished pieces, studies and sketches.
